Introduction

Northern Yemenis who are residing in Saudi Arabia formerly lived in the northern mountains and northeastern deserts of Yemen, the poorest country in the Arab world. Yemen has a turbulent history of wars and conquests. Northern Yemeni Arabs are primarily located in the southwestern area of Saudi Arabia, across the Red Sea and the coast of Eritrea. Overpopulation, unemployment, drug abuse, unending political conflict and tribal rivalries have driven many to Saudi Arabia.

Ministry Obstacles

The Northern Yemeni have put their identity in the Islamic religious system. It will take the work of the Holy Spirit to get them to question what they have believed for many centuries.

Outreach Ideas

Pray for the Followers of Christ

Pray for the Entire People Group

Pray for a movement of the Holy Spirit that will give Northern Yemenis a willingness to embrace Jesus Christ as lord and savior, depending on him alone for salvation.
There are a few audio resources in their language. Pray for Northern Yemenis to receive these resources.
