Introduction / History

The Takua homeland is in Qu?ng Nam and Qu?ng Ngãi provinces of central Vietnam. It is heavily forested.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Living in a land of mountains and forests, the Takua are able to collect food and wood to sell. They are not as likely to farm as other peoples of Vietnam because of the local topography.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Though about one-fourth of them are Christian, most adhere to their traditional religion. They do, however, have a Christian presence among them.

What Are Their Needs?

The Takua need to put Jesus Christ at the center of their lives.

Prayer Points

Pray for Takua followers of Christ to disciple others who will disciple others.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to drive Takua leaders to the foot of the cross.
Pray for the Lord to bless them in every way as a demonstration of his loving kindness and power.
