The Konta people live in western Ethiopia. They speak Dawro.
Kontas have an agricultural economy. They grow teff, the Ethiopian grain used to make injera bread. They also grow sweet potatoes, beans, taro and maize.
Kontas are Christian, with almost half being Evangelical.
The Konta people need clean water to drink and for their crops.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in Konta churches, blessing their families and communities in every way.
Pray for the Kontas to take up their place as Christ’s ambassadors to the lost tribes of Ethiopia.
Pray that soon Konta disciples will disciple many.
