They take part in discussions on Iraq and inform the German public on the situation in Iraq. They help with business dealings between Iraq and Germany and try to get Germany to financially help Iraq. Some Iraqis in Germany have important political and business positions. The Iraqis in Germany have important mediating positions between Germany and Iraq. German companies trade with Iraqi markets as a result.

Iraq is in turmoil. This offers both obstacles and opportunities for the Iraqi Arabs to learn more fully of who Jesus truly is, but that will require believers to obey the Lord faithfully.

What Are Their Beliefs?

They are mainly Muslims, some Sunni, some Shia. Others follow Syriac Christianity. They have one of the largest Mandaean people groups in the world and they are followers of Mazdeism, a Gnostic religion.

What Are Their Needs?

Pray for the Holy Spirit to empower Iraqi Muslims to open their eyes and see Jesus.
