Most returned to Indonesia after WWII, though some remained.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Like the Javanese in Indonesia, they are mainly Sunni Muslim with a strong bent towards animism. There is a Christian minority among them.

What Are Their Needs?

The New Caledonian Javanese need to find their way to the cross and the empty grave. They will not have the abundant life offered by Jesus until they turn to him for answers.
